why are you boosting 14 pounds when your car is cold???? that should be the real question..... :smacked49
but to answer you.... probally cause the colder the air is coming into the turbo the more boost you can compress..... as your engine heats up you start getting heat soak.... and the air is much hotter that at start up.....
what actuator are you running??? if its stock then you might want some thing different...

cuz the other day i left my house and teh car felt way more powerful when i needed to pull out in front of some cars but i wanst looking at the boost gauge so 2day i tested it and got on the gas when it was cold and it went right up to 14psi and held but as i drove it i noticed no more 14psi it was at 9-10 i am running a huge fmic so heat soak is doubtful and i am on the stock wastegate

no not the turbo at all.... probally the internal waste gate allowing boost in....
the stock headgasket shouldnt be pushed more the .9 bar.... thats under 14 psi...... :nono

and im talking about heatsoak from the air coming into the turbo through the mafs....... the cooler the air is the more it can be packed into the turbo....

no boost controller????

if it was super cold out side that sound possible, if the waste gate actuator were sticking. it my hae gotten moisture in it and froze, rusted, or it could have been so cold that it gave the spring more tension than usual, you know physics and all that jive. mine did that when i first got it, bitch pulls hard dont it? anyway, 95se i hate to do this (again) but do you have the link to the site you used to do the wiring on your car? im starting my s14 later in the week and i kind of need the lay out of that f3 plug. if you could just point me in the right direction that would be great.

no i dont have a boost controller but i was racing somebody and i kinda had to win lol so i pulled the wastegate vac to make the 14psi then i tested my lil theory the next day when it was cold with no wastgate vac and 14psi but once it got hot 9-10 psi why is it doing this and yea it pulls hard as hell when its cold

Are you talking the sr20det headgasket?? You shouldn't push past .9bar on the stock sr20 head gasket?? Thats the first time I've heard that.

do you smell that........ BS maybe? the stock headgasket is good to 14lbs. i have seen a stock headgasket put down 300whp. if you tune it right then you wont have a problem. getting back to the problem at hand. it could be that the air inside the engine compartment was still cold and you were able to push more boost, you following? fuck me! do you think it could be heat soak on the intercooler?

the bumper support is now cut out along with the bumper and i doubt a t25 can heat soak that lol i just think wonder why it does that 14 psi the first few pulls then it heats up and i loose about 4-5 psi which is a huge diffrence in power.

if you pulled the vac line to your wastgate and only made 14lbs than either
A: your turbo is done or
B: you have a boost leak

and on the other note I have personally been though 2 t25's open boosted Spiking 22 and holding 18 and never had a single prob except turbo going twice. been about 2 and a half years now on same headgasket.
