Looks fun. Yes, water temp is very necessary. I bought one but had some electrical problems and it died (Greddy 52mm). Since I never had temp problems before, even in the summer, I kept on driving it. Big mistake. My KA radiator (yeah, seemed economical and great at the time :( ) outlet crumbled and leaked all of the fluid and I'm hoping I shut it off in time. I'm still saving for a temp gauge and Koyo radiator. I mean, NO, you'll have no problems - give me your temp gauge and Koyo. ;)

I dont mind autometer, but i woulda got EGT instead of water temp.
Water temp is far more important than EGT, especially since the stock temp gauge is basically worthless. You really dont want to risk overheating a motor, especially when you are working out all the bugs of a new install. EGT is not the most reliable tuning method and isnt nearly as useful as monitoring water temp.

NICE!! Looks like the car is coming a long very well.

Whe do you think the motor and tranny will be out??

Can you post a link to the radiator that you got??

Has the dismantling of the car been as straight-forward as you expected??

Can't wait to see more updated pics!! :)

yeah everything is going smoothly. i have a chilton's manual but i haven't used it. everytime i look something up... it ends up worthless. the engine will be out whenever my dad has time to help me and we rent a hoist.

i actually got the car by chance, i was browsing the classifieds, was about to go look at a cf hood for the cord' saw the 240 (which ended up only costing $200 more than the hood), went and looked at it. then bought it :supercool

I'm just the same. 91 accord, Then boosted Integra, then 97 Lude, then 90 240sx.

I think alot of 240 guys came from honda backgrounds. Its like the entry to RWD'dom.
My first car was an 86 Accord LX....Sold
1993 Integra LS...traded in
1996 Accord LX....had an accident...:(
2001 325ci....still have
1992 Prelude Si..to build into a track car...still have
1989 240SX...to build into a track car too because I like my Prelude too much to mess up on the track. I will still use my Prelude for a few track events but I will mainly mainly use it for daily driving.

The 240SX was the BEST car for the money. It has the potential to be a BEAST for the lowest price. It will be fun to keep up/beat Vettes with it. :heyhey
