what have i been up to lately....hm.....
work, work, and more work. i think i hung out with brandon and jesse this week, but i really can't remember when it was. had to call in today to work (feeling like shit and my car is giving me small problems, nothing unusual). beat that dent out of my fender wednesday morning, damn i can do some decent (easy, cheap) bodywork. lol

ok, back to sleep (long night).

I haven't been up to much car-wise. Tried doing the dating thing with this girl for about two weeks and I don't think she likes me anymore...Man the ladies just suck. I'm kind of down right now, hopefully I'll be feeling better soon, I don't like this shit.

Off tomorrow, so I guess I'll fiddle with my car if it's not raining.

c have you got the ca out of the clip yet i would like to come by and look at it.im going to order some parts for my swap this weekend maybe i will have everything by the time jarco has another ca in.

i have new tires (205/60/15 front, 205/65/15 rear) to fill up my wheel wells. no more 195/55/15 bull shit for me!!!
and brandon's sick, btw. wish him well, he's the only one of us (minus C and mario) w/ money.

theres nuthin else II talk about...

Since misery loves company, here I go: Last Tuesday night my transmission died while I was turning in to Best Buy off of 280. Fun. I was on the way to look for new speakers that my woman was going to buy me for my b'day (which was Thurs.). So, the guy who was gonna do my 5 spd swap here in town is booked up for at least a month. I had to tow the car to Jackson, MS to my uncle (who is a mechanic) is doing the swap for me. I took about 6 hours to get there Sat. in the cold rain, since every time I got over 55 mph the damn little Uhaul car dolly started swaying so bad it nearly threw the Pathfinder off the road. Fun. So now I have no idea when he'll be able to get my car back to me, but at least I'll have a 5 spd vert in the next few weeks and (possibly) new wheels and brakes. As if my luck is that good. We'll see.

That's about all here. Oh, and we're working on buying a house.

late,

man we`re all down an out, and waitin II come back.
but, just look at the good side a things, th s14 back, and with new maintenance and a new head, possibly the 248 cam setup.
a manual car, possibly with new wheels/brakes.
though the guy under th weather has us all beat: 180 turbo powered horses!

Boyd, that sucks dude.
I'm not down, to the best of my knowledge. btw, got the r32 wheel today. took me about an hour to wire my horn harness to it and get it bolted on. i'm no wiring guru, so i was kinda like "ah shit, no idea what i'm doing." but it all works, bout to go driving.

bryant, buy my freakin'' nardi, now, bish.

Thanks, man, I appreciate the support. Once the 'vert gets back, I'll have to put out the call to see if this is really the only 5 spd 'vert in the SE. But I'll reserve that till the damn thing runs down Grants Mill.

BTW, anyone know anything about fiberglass enclosures for subwoofers? I'm thinking about removing the back seat altogether and moving my subs and amp back there. (I love my bass, what can I say?)

late,
b

hey, what's up everyone? Sorry that you are sick Brandon. Any way we got the engine out off the clip today. I'm sending the pics to you right now. Hope you get well soon. Mario :heyhey

i plan on removing my rear seats and building a storage enclosure (a la 260Z or FC3S). it'll be purposeful, and hopefully add a decent bit of weight to the rear end (which would be nice in the long run).

I keep leaning toward a wooden enclosure with a sort of lid for a little storage space behind the speakers, but was concerned about the extra weight the wood would add. So you think that extra weight would actually help to keep the back end planted a bit?
