This happen to anyone else? I was doin doughnuts in a parking lot in 3rd gear (it was wet). And outta nowhere i hear a POP and i was like WTF was that? so i thought nothing of it but when I leave the parking lot to turn into a street, IT WAS FRICKIN HARD TO TURN... so now my power steering is gone... but for some reason, when I rev pass 1300 rpm, it comes back. This happen to anyone and know what I look for and how to fix it? I'm guessing a line somewhere got crimped...

My moms taurus did that and thats when I found her whole engine/tranny/rear crossmember falling out the bottom.

i dont have power steering...i actually really like it, its a whole new feeling to driving your car...After i got used to it i drove my moms car for the first time in a while and it had a real wierd feeling to it...the power steering just made it feel "fake", if that makes any sense lol...oh well i say remove your powersteering components and get used to the feeling. Its a good work out too

Check your pressure hose,mine blew drifting......lol!

power steering blows alot I hear in drifting. Last year they had a couple cars blow powersteering at d1 while drifting.. I dont have powersteering in my accord and I hate it. Im keeping it in the 240

coulda blew your pump?? or maybe it gets enough pressure when its "spooled up"?? Dont know anything about ps obviously.

Tht sounds like a small leak in the pressure hose, if you go to the bottom of that hose youll find a sensor.Look above,around ,and below that sensor for a leak....

I vote 240's for the leakiest car ever. I have never had a car with soo much crud on them. except for jeeps.

I'd like to start a company building replacement parts for nissans so they arent soo damn cheap feeling. I get in my 240 and look at the tweed.. then flip the window switch and feel plastic cup quality. Cant open my glove box. .

Mazda FD Rx-7 clearly takes it for the leakiest car ever. Hell, you got to rebuild those rotaries every 70k much less replace all your seals almost every 10k....if you're lucky.accordscantdrif said:
