black roof (pics)

Since i had photo shopped my car with a black roof forever ago i deceided to go ahead and bite the bullet. I was bored and feeling creative so i used a rattle can and primer and clear.

once it dries i have to go back and sand it down and then hit it with some more clear but this will give you the jist of it.

that looks really good cept the banner on the windshield otherwise looks good

Thats exactly what the bodyshop is doing to my ride, except of course I am having the car painted graphite grey pearl with the black roof. :supercool

You might have me confused with somebody else.....I have never had any skyline wheels.

I have a Blitz LM front mount and I can go take a head on shot if you would like. but can i clean it before i take the pic? I have to let the paint on the roof dry before i can go wash it and wax it for a great photo shoot. I will update this thread later in the week tho.

Well I was actually just wondering how much of your intercooler is actually visible through your front bumper. My Greddy intercooler core size is 276mm X 600mm X 76mm and I think the Blitz LM intercooler is 254mm X 609.6mm X 63.5mm. My Greddy intercooler has only about one third of the core actually being functional because the other two thirds are covered by the front bumper. Since I have a chuki (the same bumper as you at least, I forget its name) front bumper I was just curious if you cut yours up at all so all of the intercooler is visible and functional. Not looking for any picture perfect pictures.

nice... but i always preferred a car painted all one color...

You have a car just like I want mine.. Just I want mine pearl white.. So beautiful. How hard was it doing this with a rattle can and how much time did this take? Did you do it outside or in your garage or something?

thanks guys. the wheels are Advan Onis, 17x8+25/9+32. i still have all the GT-S wheels, i just use them for the track. i might be buying some more 17s, so ill let you know if i plan on selling them. i thought about the carbon hatch, but i like the way the white flows around the black. if i did it id paint it white again(thats honda championship white by the way<3)

not sure who you were asking about the nose shot, so heres one.
