No the 3000GT/Stealth are not considered DSMs. No where on their chassis does it say DSM and they were not assembled in Normal, Il but in Japan. The Mirage also is not considered a DSM, and the Galant VR4 technicly is one, although it isn't.Patarach said:diamond star motors (chrysler, mitsubishi, and plymouth) eclipse, talon, laser and also 3000gt and steath, and I think the galant or the mirage.
Hey hey calm ur nerves! :crazyrant No need for the cussing, but im a mustang guy. I have owned 5 of them and "breaking in" stuff isnt normal from my world. (Yes I have learned my lessons) But whatever the reason Im not saying the DSM is bad cause i burnt up a brand new clutch, yet saying that go to any DSM site and look at all the new posts in the technical forum!Dark-Hawk said:Irving18m: Did you even let the fucking thing brake in? And who made the clutch? Because I've NEVER heard of anyone going through a GOOD clutch that quickly. DSMs CAN be a money pit but I know of several people that own DSMs that are reliable. I have a friend with a completley build engine although he's on the stock turbo and his car's givin him no problems since the rebuild. I also have a friend with a 50 trim on the stock internals but upgraded fuel and he's had no issues with the engine. It's all in finding a car that was well maintaned, unfortunetly many of them have been beaten on since they're so cheap and young kids can buy them and beat the fuck out of them. It's the drivers that are often times the issue, not the car itself.
Personally I say find yourself a good DSM, or pick up an S14 or something. Bang for the buck you wont find a better car than a DSM.
In your world I guess they don't make any sense either...lol...Irving18m said:Hey hey calm ur nerves! :crazyrant No need for the cussing, but im a mustang guy. I can say going from a Mustang to a Talon was a horrible idea but I sold it and learned my lesson! :nono But if your stuck on it go for it. I was running 20 lbs of boost and lets just say that I made MANY mustang guys MAD! :thumbsup
