Hey I am new to these boards and this is my first Nissan, a 1992 240SX hatch. I think i got a great deal on it, it has 175K miles but has a near perfect body with beautiful paint, 5spd, runs very well. I look foward to learning more about these cars and working on mine. Ill try to get pics up soon. :thumbsup

Sounds like a nice deal you got, with any car that has high milage, there's is a long list of things to replace. If you engine/tranny/diff runs fine, I would try to start working on the suspension and brakes. Most suspension parts after 100k+ miles will start falling apart, bushings, struts, and all the fun bits that hold it all together.

Good luck with your car, I'd like to see pic's.

BTW, Phish r0X0rs, I've seen them 9 times, one of my favorite live bands :)

I'm guessing those are 5-lug wheel covers.

Nice car btw. I had a chance at a $500 93 hatch that needed a head gasket. I let my roommate buy it. I wanted to stick with my coupe, much better looking imo, but needs more work and cost $900. oh well I guess.

you should get it out of 4x4 mode before you pic up wheels.
