Do I have to remove the door panel to change my speakers? or just take out the grill part?

Just take off the door panel, much easier that way and it only takes 5 minutes to take off both of them.

you'll be shocked to see how crappy those door speakers are. i fabbed up a mounting bracket and managed to get a Kicker 6.5 in each door.

also, u may want to purchase the mounting bracket for the GM cars that lets u put in 6.5 speakers into the old 4x6 place. Its pretty cheap and should work.. prob much easier than fabbing up a custom bracket
