question about ebay strut tower bar...

Sweet. I got members of my car club that go to VSU. Look for a blue 04 Neon SXT with an SRT-4 wing and the Mopar dual exhaust that has "Chillaxed Creations" across the front. I know he lives in the dorms and he's a freshie ...

not true. it would work for ka24e and de probably. but i highly doubt by the looks of that it would fit oveer the ca18 intake mani.

"Aww, my $28 strut bar doesn't fit with my new CA18DET now. Oh well. Now I got a manual tranny, a 1.8L vs 2.4L engine, turbocharger, double cams, a cast iron block ... Who gives a shit about that strut bar?"

Actually, all you have to do is stick the bar in a vise and bent it a bit where it goes over the intake manifold.

Those stb's are pretty weak, they look good - but thats about all they do.

This is what a real stb looks like :thumbsup and it can be yours for $50 shipped. :embarasse

that strut bar should be closer to the big seam on the firewall for maximum rigidity and should have a plate to spread out the load if you are tying into the firewall.

all in all not a bad piece for 50 shipped though
