Can anyone tell me which bodykit manufactuers actually windtunnel test their bodykits. Im not to worried about money, and right now my car is a zenki and I havent decided whether im going to convert to a a kouki face. lol, sorry im wrambling.

But does anyone know of any bodykit manufactuer's that actually windtunnel their bodykits. B/c Im not goign to put a bodykit on my car if it doesnt do anything airdynamiclly for for my car.

Thanks in advance

ya I definitely understand what you are saying. If you look at it on the honday side of things

I know that if memory serves correct.... buddy club does do windtunnel testing and that is a major part of the 3500 dollar price tag for some of their full bodykits

where as most manufacturers dont do windtunnel testing which helps keep their cost down.

But just because something looks good doesnt mean I am gonna throw it on my car, i would rather spend the money for something that is both astically pleasing and aerodynamically sound.

Overall body kits will improve aerodynamics because they're keeping more air from going under the car. The difference I'd think would come with different sized openings, and how big you want the opening will depend on your intercooler or lack there of. Most kits will also help with front downforce which in turn hurts aerodynamics.

I agree with you, and want an aerodynamic kit myself, but I honestly don't think there is going to be that much of a difference one kit to another. A good rule of thumb is if it looks aerodynamic it probably is. If you're really worried about aerodynamics bolt some flat panels to the under side of your car, maybe even dimpled panels! (ala LS430)

yeah, also, you gotta remember that most cars that do use windtunnel testing are nascars that dont break speed very often and go for endurance, i wouldnt htink it would matter as much in drift or a situation like autocross hwere you arent going to have tio hold top speed at all because the next corner is quickly approaching

Aside from the manufacturer backed companies, I highly doubt any other company does wind tunnel testing. I thought I read somewhere that Target (Team Phenix) does it but dont quote me on that. As s15driftking said, it really wouldnt matter, no one is doin a top speed flat out run around here.

oh and i suppose you will actually be going somewhere fast enough that you need a kit to be wind tested... you nerd alerts really need to do something else with ur time besides being retarded.

by the way... what you people should do is go find a kit that is tested and then go to extreme dimensions and buy the copy... that place copies everything!

so there ya go, wind tested and cheap! woo hoo!! happy researching you nerd alerts.

p.s. i love when people say "i dont care about the money" until its time to pay the bill

you buy your cheap ass shitty fitting combat-cali-typeR-BMX garbage, and i'll support the people who are innovative and buy mine from Msports, you spend 5oo, i spend 1400, you get yours worked out and painted for 1200, i spend 400, and viola, i still spent 100 bucks more, but i know that i have the good shit, and yours looks liek its made out of paper mache.

and guess what, i'll still have money to pay the bills on the 7th :greddy:
