got my car lowered

i don't have the ride height dialed in exactly, i'm going to wait until i get my wheels, then i'll dial it in. front needs to come down a bit more

my accord needs a new wheel bearing, so next weekend is devoted to that - and putting my vlsd in the 240. the 240 is going in on wednesday to get dyno tuned at higher boost. now its time for wheels, tires, brakes and body work! and more suspension! (the megan's are really sweet though, it handles amazing - even unaligned on all season tires w/ untuned suspension)

yep, they are the mr's. and no, they still can go down a lot more - like 3" more :eek:

Awesome! Unless you eventually give me a reason not too... I'm also going with the MR coilovers. Although, I'll be rocking the teardrops rims for a few months, or until I figure out if I'm going 5 lug or not.

go240, i am really interested in buying those exact coilovers for my car but cannot find any pics of a s13 (or s14 for that matter) with the mr racing series coilovers set to as low as they go. so if you get really bored one day you want to put them on the lowest possible setting and take a picture for me? :thumbsup

no, i don't really want to lol. ride height adjustment takes a while - you have to take the coils off the car practically. i will tell you, they will go lower than you will ever need them to go. the rears have zero finger gap basically and could go down another 2.5 - 3" by looking at how much thread is left.

Thanks. That was the ricer in my previous post talking. I read some 15 page review of the coilovers but every person in the thread kept theirs at stock ride height. Screw the remaining few engine mods I want to do before I go on to suspension, I want these coilovers now! :crazyrant

HAHAHA. Yeah, most of my friends ask why I own a Honda because I am not into any of the "rice" mods. :rotflmao I would rather go fast than look good. :supercool

My plans for my car: Quietest blowoff valve, black front mount intercooler, and a flat black-painted exhaust rolling on OEM wheels, slightly dropped.

see... those are the two things i would show off. my car would be black with no kit, 5% tint, black 15 or 16 inch wheels, with a fat ass intercooler and a loud blowoff valve.

but your work is looking good. no need to look amazing if you got suspension and turbo. every summer im like "ok, this year im going to sand down the rust and give it some kind of decent paint job", and then every summer i look at it and go "fuck it, im going to buy [insert something a college kid cant afford] instead cause my car doesnt handle well enough".

what are the specs on the turbo? is is ka-t or did you go swap?

also... is that intercooler safe just hanging like that? are you worried bout hitting things? especially lowered. i know i scrape my lip on about everything and all ive got is a sportline drop.
