Polished my Intake Manifold

Why? For the money saved on not using a rb26, I already spent on a GT32 turbo upgrade and power fc. Good enough for me.Whats wrong with a little look?

i dunno. its just me, but any money spent on asthetics is money wasted... but i guess any money spent on a car is money wasted. plus you are gonna drift and put it into a ple anyway... why bother? lol.

manifold looks good. That thing looks so easy compared to the SR manifold im doing now. has all kinds of mounts and things that intterupt the flow.

Are you using a dremel for that Xracer? It looks pretty annoying whether you're using one or not.

If anyone cares maguires billet polish is awesome for aluminum (as the final polish). It makes it look like a mirror. Oh how I love polishing shit...

yea, that is the only tool i have. takes for ever ive already put 10+ hrs in it easy and im not even close to being done. im going to do this one even better than my KA manifold and polishing around the injector area. I use Mother Mag & Aluminum polish for final

Do you have a pic of your KA manifold? I did my manifold in about 5 hours (didn't do the bottom) because I had an angle grinder that made easy work of deap pits. I'd suggest getting one if you do very much polishig of cast aluminum parts.

the manifold looks sweet man! tell me more: whcih compound you used to buff/polish after sanding? i'm going to polish my 60-1 turbo housing in a little bit. i want it mirror finish like that.

took me like 10 hrs just to get the casing off... ibought an air compressor before so i could use an angle grinder but the tank wasnt big enough to support it.

yea the SR manifold is all kinds of gay. cant wait to get it done. think i will stick to valve covers untill i get some real tools after im done.
