Update: since spun rod bearing, Lots of Pics

When i had the motor out, i changed all the rod bearings and added a new timing chain and tensioner. I also added a few more things while the motor was out. Eveything runs great on the car 100% :thumbsup

40.00 for rod bearings (nissan)
57.00 Timing chain (nissan)
55.00 Tensioner (enjuku)
25.00 Black carpet like new (junkyard)
5.00 aluminum volvo intercooler pipe used as intake (junkyard)
105.00 unorthodox crank pulley (jgy)
100.00 hks wastegate, holds great (jgy)
150.00 Taka stainless turbo lines (phase2)
300.00 shipped carbon fiber hood (ebay) :rotflmao fitment was good
55.00 shipped apexi turbo timer w/harness (ebay) :rotflmao it works
200.00 shipped H&R springs with rear AGX struts, stock front (ebay)

Looks good! How long did it take you to tear down the motor and get everything back together?

2 full weeks, I took some days off of work to get everything done with the help of my brother in law so that i can get the car back on the road asap

That’s awesome... I also have the unorthodox crank pulley... But I get my motor tomorrow morning. And ill start working on that ASAP...

It came like that on the car :12dunno , I noticed when I had my 89 hatch with the SR it seemed to be on the short side.

What kind of radiator is that?
Maybe its just my eyes but that doesn't look stock.

what turbo lines are those? are they for the s13 sr20 to what, stock turbo or for a t28?
let me know asap so we can work something out.

they are for the S13 T25; check out phase2motortrend.com they have them for the t28 s14/s15 and some others that are alittle bit cheaper. The lines are very easy to work with.

Very funny Tom, maybe ill get some wheels later in the summer after my trip :thumbsup

$40 for all rod bearings? did you have a discount or wholesale threw a shop or thats the average price they go for?

Also how was the fitment of them, did you measure the crank and figure the clearences?

The dealership charged me 5$/bearing and I decided to replace all 8. My crank was very clean, so I used the same part numbers as the ones on the SR. I believe they came off of a SE R Sentra

Fitment was great because the crank was in good shape. I had a very small rod knock at around 3k rpm. I stopped driving it once i heard the knock so it would not get any worse

Kurwa ale czyste. I was like what the hell is kola must be a word I don't know. I forgot about the...Ł. I thought he was talking about cola at first hahaha...like you're all done now so you need to drink a cola.
