im really thinking about doing this setup. i have a few tech questions though. I can build the ITB setup( i think) my main question is the ecu. How hard was that to build and how does it all go together does the MS completly replace your ecu, and what about the MAF and other stuff like that, and do i have to run a distrubuter setup like yours or can i use my existing setup. I know a lot of questions but i really what to do this setup.

yeah, for any questions you have about the ECU part of things, I used MegaSquirt, and all the info you can find for that is at www.megasquirt.info

MS replaces the stock ecu and wiring harness. So the MAF sensor is deleted also. MS uses a MAP sensor, or you can do a TPS based system too. But you can switch back and forth between the two within the same MS unit, you don't have to pick one and stick with it.

Speed Blue: for $50 I'll give you my phone number and answer all of your exact queastions. haha There is some weird way to make the stock distributor work, but it still involves making a trigger wheel for the crank pulley and some other stuff, so it's worth it to do the dis if you're gonna be going through all that anyways.

ok i think i got the ignition down now, one last question though. are u running DIS or modifiying the stock setup to just get it to fire or for the purposes of the MS system. Basicly i dont understand why i would have to switch my stock setup over to DIS or modify my stock setup, cant i just run my stock disributor with a coil?
