What to Do with my Stock 91 240 SX

Hello Everybody this is my first post and i plan on making many more, currently i have a 1991 240 sx with 65k miles i have a full s15 conversion on my car, so i have the look i wanted but now i have a car that looks how i want it but now i want to work on the performance it is completly stock underneath the hood my first question is what should i do first?

yeah that's a pretty broad question. unless you are set on a swap, i'd do suspension first.

ok well i plan on keeping this car and putting lots of time and money into it plan on putting in as many parts in it as possible what i meant is what to do first i was thinking of putting a turbo kit into it but i cant decide between that or buying alot of other less expensive parts i have about 7 grand to spend in cash right now if that helps any input is appreciated

ok i'll refrase what i said, do you wanna drag car? overall street car? autox? drift? what are you wanting here.

Ok there's still alot of possibilities. I would get the suspension and brakes squared away then get the power going if everything is fine with the engine right now.

about the engine

well i absolutley love my swap. now i just have to finish my suspension before i can really take full advantage of all the power. so if i had it to do over again, i would have done suspension first.

ok well i just ordered my nismo tail lights and racing seats so lets say i get a custom engine a suspension next is should i get the turbo kit or like an intake intercooler and exhaust system?

if you do an engine swap, go with something that already comes turbo. that way you don't have to buy an additional turbo kit or anything.

well i know a ton off the top of my head. but i can only speak from experience on the place i got my swap from. barnettpandd.com or call (423) 677-5188 and ask for robin, tell him uno had you call and he'll take care of your engine needs. All the engines are compression tested and in excellent condition. he got a blacktop the other day that looks brand new honestly.

thanks for the record i just turned 18 and i have a twin brother we just recived the family buisness we decided we were going to buy "toys" and i just want to make sure my car looks and preforms better then his 1994 gt3000 vr4

oh yeah he'll lose 3rd gear in the vr4 before he gets to make too much more power but shhh, don't tell him lol they're both nice cars but i like the 240sx better. good choice!

yeah it's a turbo'd engine. sr20det the t means turbo. also he can get all the things you've listed. his site just isn't updated yet. just call him and tell him what you need.

ok this is probably a dumb question but if i completly max out my car do you think ill be able to keep up with my dads 1999 diablo sv its 0-60 is like 3.9ish
it maxes at like 205 mph and i think its 538 bhp

well hehe you can make more hp than that but i dunno about keeping up with it. if it's stock, maybe you can stay close for a while :thumbsup
