ok.. i baught this car in june of this year after wrecking my s14, drove it for not even 24 hours before the motor threw a rod. for the past 4 months i have been waiting for parts to come in from backorder and what not. i would have had the wiring harness on friday(9/16/05) but UPS lost my package so it wont be here until monday (9/19/05). heres a couple of quick pics of the finished swap minus the wiring harness. sorry i dont have some of the full car but i will sure have some up tomorrow. will be running tomorrow night as well so ill get som vids with my new digi camera! i know it might not be the cleanest swap but enjoy anyways , and comment. oh and the green valve cover... it looked good to me at first but now i hate it with the blue sard hoses. time for a new color.

skyhawk what kind of server are you running? if your at a school, business, or library computer...most of the time you cant load pictures up. i see them fine on mine and everyone who has PMed me about it can see them. try a different computer.

blow off valve is in the wheel well attatched to the intercooler piping. Greddy doesnt make a hot pipe with the sard flange i have on my bov. i now hate the green.... gonna bead blast it and powder coat it blue sometime this week at the shop. the harness i have doesnt have a TPS plug in so i dunno what the hell im gonna do? anyone have any ideas. i need the help! motor turned over the first time i cranked it today but as soon as you press the gas it bogs out. damn harnesses and no TPS plug.
 
Ok where the hell does the hose go that connects to the connector on valve cover towards the front of the car? It has a decent amount of vacuum to it - and I got my car with it not connected to shit and I can't tell where it would go.

or did it just have a filter on it?

Jason- the hose on the valve cover i think your talking about goes to your intake. you can put a breather filter on it but then you have to worry about moisture and oil blow by if you dont have a catch tank....i think. correct me if im wrong.

no.. i ordered my motor set some 4 months ago. it came as a automatic with no tranny,ECU, mafs, ignitor, or harness. i got ripped off bad. i've been waiting this long to finally get everything that i paid for. i got the 62 ECU but the plug on my harness is to small for the plug on the ECU so im using a buddies just to crank it over and do some tweaking. obviously i got the wrong ECU or something. my harness came from RB motoring. I had to switch my TPS plug since the one on my motor was for the Auto tranny. all other wires pluged up fine. I still have no Ignitor. i tried wiring a CA18 ignitor today but it didnt work. my friend took his back so i couldnt use it. my wiring looks like shit now but once its up and running perfect...hopefully within the next couple days(if i can get a ignitor chip), im gonna take the harness out and re wrap it nice and tuck it away. i still dont know about a ECU as well. like i said i have the 62 but the plugs are different from the harness and the module itself. my harness plug is shorter than the ecu plug. IF ANYONE HAS A EXTRA SR 5 SPEED ECU OR AN IGNITOR CHIP PLEASE LET ME KNOW! IM SO LOW ON CASH SO PLEASE HELP A FELLOW 240 OWNER OUT. I HATE TO LOW BALL BUT ITS COME THAT TIME. im gonna try a couple junk yards for a Q45 ignitor tomorrow. we'll see. but when i did have everythign hooked up(friends parts) it started and idled at about 1500rpm for about 5-7 minutes. it dropped down to 900-1000 after that.
