 Is that a threat?

Not much to really update. I spent a couple of hours doing a few misc things this weekend to the car. I had to cut out the holes for the FMIC. I've already cut out the rust from under the battery tray, now I had to cut more out so the coldpipe would fit. There isn't much metal left on that side now. I'd like to clean it up somehow, but it will stay like that for now.

I've got the FMIC, and Koyo installed for the most part. I'm now hooking up misc things, and hoses. Just picked up a bunch of new hose to replace some of the older stuff.

She will be done... one day.

Any plan to put the bumper support on? How the hell can you run the hot pipe and ic core, but yet not run the rest of the piping?!?! Call in sick and finish this biatch!
Funny you should mention that because I didn't feel that great this morning so I came into work 4 hours late. I guess I should have sucked it up and worked on the car. :thumbsup The piping is just about done. This picture was taken while I was in the middle of getting it on.

I don't know if I'll be able to use the bumper support. I'm hoping I can keep it on. I don't care if I need to modify it, I just would like to keep it. Just in case...

Anyone know if the bumper support works with the Greddy FMIC? My guess is no...
Every account I've seen points to having to modify the stocker to accept the IC. I wouldn't recommend complete removal, rather, cutting out enough of a section to maintain the support's functionality where ever possible. Good luck.

:nono Tiss tiss. You should know better. Don't you remember that big ass e-mail a sent to you several months ago dealing with everything about mounting the ic for the Greddy vspl kit. Here's a picture of my Greddy VSPL kit installed to remind you.

Yeah I just pm'd the e-mail I sent to you. Man I can't believe I just found an e-mail from back in March. But yeah as you can see the bumper support is still there, just hacked away and with a good amount of clearance on each side so incase the bumper support is hit from the side, when the support stops it from damaging my engine the ic core won't be impaled by the bumper support.

Well now that I'm back in school I've been pretty busy. I worked on the car a little today just replacing some of the remaining hoses, and started on the wiring. It's not much of an update at all... just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. :thumbsup

Actually when they put my engine in the container someone bent the fuel rail, so they sent me a new one along with some injectors. The rail looks cool though... I wonder if it will eventually change color.

It is zinc plated with a yellow chromate. I work at plating shop, let me know if you are interested. Zinc plating is cheap!!
