i dont have an exhaust at all right now, which is bad i think, lol

i have 200 dollars to spend, cant find any locally to or people want to much for there used stuff and i have to wait forever, i need it now. pluss junk yards are scarce

^ thats what i did. i got an SSAC (ebay brand) 3inch catback shipped to my house for $248, it came with a free test pipe and all the gaskets i needed. i got the one with the extra resinator on my NA 1990 its quite loud with the testpipe in and the silencer out.

the welds all look good on the exhaust. the exhaust dont get as hot as a turbo mani so its less prone to cracking. i also sugest that u get an cat back with the extra resinator. also the exhaust sold for the sr20det will fit KA and CA motors.

those autozone pipes sound HORRIBLE....i work with a guy that slapped one on his probe and it pretty much sounds like a fart...

the size of the motor dont matter. u could have an RB and with the right down pipe a exhaust for you car will work. its car specific not motor specific.
my exhuast sounds preaty good, i think. its got a low rumble when your below 3K but when u hammer it it screams. rember that im running a testpipe with an NA motor and 3inch so its going to be a little loud with out the silencer.

if you order it this weekend it should be there by the next weekend. so a week. mine came with a free resinated testpipe also.

just buy a magnaflow muffler....you can pick up a magnaflow muffler w/ a tip for around $100 if you look, then have a shop run new pipe and weld on the muffler....ebay sells a ton of them and theyre authentic not replicas...ive gone this route before and it works just fine.
im not cheeap, just broke, theres a diffrence, i like to spend money and if i was cheap i wouldnt even buy anything for it, i just run it with out anything, like im doing now, lol
im not goning to put on some 400 plus dollar cat back on a car that might not be able to get sold for that much later on the line. ill spend the big bucks on 240 number 3! when i find the right one
