ok this probably sounds like the dumbest question, but i have to ask. how are catbacks installed? are they bolted to the cat, welded to the cat, or either? the reason i ask is because i bought a high flow cat but its a "universal" so it has to be welded into the exhaust piping. so i'm just wondering if there would be any problem welding a catback system up to my "universal" cat? thanks any help!

most catbacks bolt on, if that's the case with the one you buy take your universal cat and get a flange welded on.

haha, it means what it saids. A catback exhaust system is a complete exhaust system starting from the catalytic converter back towards the muffler, with new piping and muffler. Hint; hint it called a catback exhaust system.rschwalbe said:

Its a Trust (GReddy) DD Exhaust. Yes, it works on turbo S13 and S14s. Its Loud on N/A engines though.

It should be louder than both of those, because it is a 3" pipe going into 2 - 2 1/2" pipes. By the way it also sits at an angle, like the HKS Hyper.

Its not a bad angle, like a crooked wanker. Its a slight angle. Look at the picture..... the dual tips are at different lengths.
