just a roll bar for $350? are you talking the main hoop and nothing else? if thats it all that is is a single pipe with four bends and of course mounting brackets, please tell me its more than that, because that'd be a ripoff. and 12point? scca rules mandate 6point cages, with two optional braces if you choose which would make it 8point. any more points would not pass inspection, btw points are how many places the cage attaches to the car.
The AP 4 point (main hoop and two rear bars) is $350 IIRC

I guess not...but if you drag race and trap more than 135...it requires a different cage than if you just trap 130.
i thought you needed it if you run under a 12sec, meh... i'm not into drag racing. im sure its just a nasa spec cage. i'll read up on it when i get the chance.

one question though, are you running 135+?

i don't mean to bust on your guys thread, but I know a shop that was thinking about doing the same things as well. Till they found these cages

http://www.swracecars.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?Search=Yes

you just can not beat the price and quality of SW Racecars. If you setup a shop account with them the prices are just sick. I can get an 8 point chromoly cage for my s13 for around 300 bucks!

I know its not bolt in, but check to see your competition before you waste time and money

nice find BUT... " All S&W roll bars meet and exceed NHRA, IHRA & NMCA requirements." those are not scca or nasa legal cages. so they are useless when it comes to some events(autox for example), $300 is alot to pay for something you can't bring on the track. they're great for drag events and whatnot that require the standards set by those agencies but are useless for autox events which was the whole reason for me building cages in the first place. VERY nice find for anybody who needs those though, if you're looking fr a cage like that buy it from them, i can't beat that.
