Yea... Seems more money practical for me since getting the motor and install kit for the 13B would be about as much as an almost fully built BP-ZE making around 200RWHP. Should be a GOD at auto-x with that kind of power and suspension parts... Gonna get my bud who is going out to Japan to buy me some parts on the cheap to throw on her too. :D

I see a lot of talk going on with the 2nd generation bp 99-00 engines :supercool
Yeah I haven't really done much with mines, about the only thing I have going is full suspension and rollbar. Rims are in the garage, 11lb enkei rpo2j's and the sport package sideskirts and front lip are going on at the same time. So the car should look pretty sexy. Turbocharging probably isn't going to be seen until around september when my car is fully paid off, i'm looking into doing some porting and polish work though which should be pretty sweet.

I've thought alot about going the n/a route as well, then i've seen quad throttle body setups with mani's running for nearly as close to the price of a turbo kit :\ Then comes balancing, porting and polish, cams, valves and retainers, pistons, rods and you're looking at about twice if not more of the cost of an intercooled fm turbo kit.

You guys owe it to yourselfs to see the blue aizawa roadser that is featured in a best motoring video, has a stroked bp with quad throttle bodies and all the n/a work done to it. It sounds fucking amazing and the throttle response was awesome. The suspension setup was phenominal too. Needless to say the car whipped ass on the togue battle. Made tsuchiya's hachi look like shit, which for those who know that car handles phenominally. And for those who haven't really watched a best motoring hot version togue battle, it has nothing to do with drifting.

Nah... I just meant about the IRTB's. Not the 323GTX valve cover. Gonna modify my valve cover to show the cam gears and timing belt as well as powdercoat it crinkle black. :D

Yea I thought it would look good as well... Been working on the list of parts to buy and might be able to get a deal on some IRTBs here in the near future as well 2nd hand. The EXACT ones in the top pic with the 323GTX valve cover and HKS Cam Gears.... Dunno if I'm gonna get em though. Probably just get my buddy to bring me a set back from Japan when he goes again. :D

Too bad the price is HIGH on that fully built engine though. 2.1L 12:1 compression 210PS all motor. :yummy

BTW Raen... Did you ever hear anything from SPL about those suspension parts? Kinda curious...

nope. kuah hasn't replied.
i think he realized how picky miata guys are about good parts and decided to either do more research, or not respond. i know he was interested in producing the adjustable upper control arms, but not too sure about the lower control arms and springs that are stiff, but only offer 1" of drop (ideal for miatas).

Very true. We definately are picky about our suspension setups... Hopefully we'll hear something back from him or a possible prototype of something for our cars. :D
