Man, I just got out of school and was driving home to get ready to goto work. It was raining and I was only going 30 MPH in a 35 MPH zone... i accidently built boost through this curve.. built like 3 psi and my rear end kicked out and my car started sliding!! There was a car next to me, so stupidly, I slammed on the brakes even though I should've known better b/c i dont have ABS... but yeah, you can probally figure out what happened... my wheels locked up and I slid right into THE ONE AND ONLY TREE ON THAT WHOLE 1 MILE ROAD. Lol. Talk about dumb luck. I'm lucky it wrecked the passenger side and not the driver side... i woudl'nt been real screwed if it hit my side just from looking at the side of my car. Anyways.. I'm sore as hell, my back and my neck hurts... i screwed up my knee somehow so my knee hurts... I feel like shit... but yeah. I looked under the hood and was extremely surprised... It looks like the engine bay was never touched. I towed the car back to my house for now. I'm probally going to either strip the car down and sell all my parts.. engine and all then get a new car (kinda thinkin an 06 SI). Or i'm going to get another 240 and swap everything over. I dunno what I wanna do. But ya, I'm glad I did'nt hit anybody and that no one was in my car...The car next to me brakes enough so i slide in front of him across the road... I was trying to turn the wheel the other way so I'd slide into the hill but my wheels were locked so i just slid in his direction... But i missed him anyways... so I guess overall it was a good day. I'm surprised my parents did'nt freak... I guess because no one got hurt and I paid for everything on my car so it did'nt hurt them any. lol. The funniest part was that 2 tow truck guys came because the first one could'nt get my car on his truck cuz it was too low so he called a flat bed out for me. Before the 1st guy left, he pulled me aside and was like "Sorry, I could'nt help but taking a peek under the hood...nice 240sx, I bet it was a beast. I noticed it was really rigged up. I know it's not an SR20... looks like an Inline 6.. Is that a Skyline engine?" I said "yeah" and then he was like "Well, I hope you get another 240 and put that beast in something else and keep on blowing the doors off V8's with that thing" I just thought it was funny because it was some old white guy in his 40's. Anyways, here's some pics i took with my camera phone... sorry they're a little small, but you get the idea... I'll take some more tonight with my digital camera.. Anyother funny thing.. my suspension was'nt touched so I can still drive my car... i drove it up and down my street. lol.
