I am still working on getting my suspension together and now it's time to move onto strut tower bars. I am currently running KTS coilovers and that's about it for suspension. As for strut tower bars what do you guys suggest. I was looking at the Cusco bars, but they make 11tybillion different ones and I was just looking to narrow it down to one. Also I am looking for one that will be hidden beneath my rear deck and not have to cut holes in it for the bar to fit.

Sway Bars, Adjustable arms (Tension Rods, RUCA's, Rear Traction Rods, Rear Toes Rods), Sub-Frame Bushings, all these things are important for your suspension. Honda kids drop their ride, add strut bars and call it a day, as a 240 owner you gotta take it to the next level with your suspension, you'll be glad you did when you're driving on some winding country roads.

I'm not interested in just looks I want this car to PERFORM. I am a "honda kid" but the prelude is my daily driver and I want the 240 to be my handling machine. I was planning on traction rods, tie rods, RUCA's, everything but I would rather get all of that stuff at once and not have to take the car apart several times. And right now I don't have the $ for everything.

SO as for sway bars what are your opinions on the whiteline and cusco ones? And I am getting the SPL subframe bushings too.

all these people that say the strut bars don't do shit, are full of shit. simple

Yes, i agree. the rear should be one of the last things to do. and YES, SWAY bars are a MUST DO upgrade. I had my coilovers off to have them rebuilt for the past two months, and my car still handled MUCH better than a stock s14 with just my suspension t. sway bars, and adj. tension rods.

I do believe that front strut bars help a bit. I have personally felt the difference in other vehicles(yes hondas, flame me) when i put them on. i totally disagree when peeps say they are just for looks.

think about it. a piece of metal from strut to strut.. no matter the "design" it's going to accomplish the same thing. some have big names stamped on that add 400% to the cost.

yep. a bar that is rigid, and totally stiff with no give in it betwen the towers will function the same

i have a pair of tower bars i got for 20 bucks. and coilovers, sway bars to come.

Actually the design DOES have a serious affect on the way a bar works.....

Some bars are SOLID. Ie: no joints... Those bars usually work the BEST, but are often a bitch to install if anything on the car is twisted.

The second best style is the CUSCO style. It is a rectangular bar that has much less TWIST and/or flex in it due to the TUBULAR design.

I never said "go be a douche bag and buy the most expesive BRAND strut bar". I said to look at the style and purchase acordingly...
