Hello,
Im currently deciding on a type of oil cooling system for my sr , but i have just relized their are quite a few options. sure buying a 400-700 dollar name brand system sounds so easy in comarison to piecing togeather cores, fittings, lines, filter relocation kits...etc, but thats alot of money.

just wondering what some of you guys are using. maybe some mounting options? how about fans? anyone install a fan on their cooler? ebay cores? any hayden pieces work with our motors?

I might fork out the cash and get this ARC one...
But not sure yet, maybe a blitz..

but i most definitely want a oil coolers..

I will be using a N1 oil pump on my RB25, which has more oil pressure.. so the line extensions shouldn’t be a problem

I hear when you put like oil filter relocation and oil cooler kits it could drop your oil pressure. But I am not 100% on that

***EDIT*** Here is a pic of the ARC
1100.00 for the S13 kit, or 580.00 just for the cooler
I believe the kit comes with the grill and all (to allow air to hit the cooler)

I would have to use the kit, but also buy a Oil Block for the RB

wow that arc cooler is really nice (BIG).. and also really expencive

-correct me if im wrong but... an oil cooler is somthing sr20's need right? shouldn't we all be using one? since we DON'T drive to get from point "A" to point "B" if u know what i mean.

I was thinking of buying a universal oil cooler from Summit or Jegs or one of those type places. Get a Greddy adapter plate and some lines....Should be about $300 for a good setup.

Here you go. I ordered a new kit for my s14. I'm using the Tomei Oil Block. I would just recommend getting a cheaper greddy model. Or earl's kit if you want to piece it.
oh wow.. so hot.. bro.. thanks for the pic..

i just like the JDM tyhtness of that... :1bowdown

holy crap! thats really perfect.---arc, so hot

-j87w- would he be interested in selling it?, what do u mean it wouldnt build a temp.? it cooled the oil THAT MUCH?!

i herd that 170-190 is the perfect temp. even when beatin on it, anyone got numbers of what stock oil temp should be and how much the avarage cooler does?
