whats up everyone, Ive got a 300zxTT right now and I'm thinking about selling it and doing a s14 conversion. Ive found plenty of very high mileage 240s for around 3k, some even under that since the engine will be gone anyways. Prices of the sr20dets are a lil different from site to site though....I was wondering what it would cost to do a complete conversion (gotta have the headlights):) and if anyone knows any good places in the MD, PA, VA area that are good with the srs, im hearing all sorts of different prices from people but I want to get a better idea of what im looking at if I were to do this from people who have actually done it....thanks

high mileage on a 240(95-98) costs aroune 3G is a pretty good price, but the whole s14 conversion thing, i'm sure there are plenty of info from old threads we had made...i know it sounds kinda mean of myself, but this kinda question has been pretty much asked before....try do a search, and do some math....:cool:

You really shouldn't call it a SILVIA conversion or S14 conversion....you'll get some people started.

I would call it a 95/96 -> 97/98 front end conversion or Zenki S14 -> Kouki S14 conversion.

Either way I've done a write-up for this conversion that's posted in the FAQ section or you can check out my write-up on my webpage: http://members.aol.com/GTspecR/wrtie_convr.html

This conversion cost me $2100...which included new OEM parts and paint job. It may cost you more, esspecially if you want an aftermarket bumper.

I know someone in VA that is good with the SR20DET.....but where are you located?

thanks koukis14...im about 20 mins north of Baltimore, in good old Bel Air, MD (the most boring city/town on the entire east coast). I'd be able to go down to VA, its not that far from here, it would be worth the drive especially if its a very good shop.

That's cool...I sent you a PM of someone's e-mail addresses. I believe this guy can help you out.
