oh yea rebuilding calipers isnt very nessisary at all... like ever. and dont ever hone them.

update, mostly cause splat desided to chime in.

as far as my car and the parts go the new set of headlights came in, they're crystal clear (no yellow) and they came with corner lights (thanks anyway). i picked up the core support for $25, spent all day in the junkyard takin it out, and im probably gonna start fixin shit this weekend. as for the hood and fender being outta whack, they looked worse when i bought the car. the really sick part is the bumper is fine and all the damage is in front of the core support (the headlight bracket is all jacked up and it was pretty nasty when i bought the car, nows as good a time as any to replace it.).

the reason i havent started workin on it yet is because the other guy filed a claim saying i did damage to his trucks bumper with my headlight that didnt break. sounded funny to me too. so the insurance claims investigator went out went out looked at the guys truck and desided to pay out $473.05, they didnt ask any questions, just paid out. so i got pissed cause i thought my rates were about to go through the roof (they arent, my driving record to this point is impecable). so i finally got my adjuster on the horn and she pulled up the pics of the guys bumper. exact conversation:

adjuster: "yeah, looks like theres some damage in the center and a little to the left of center. there are also appear to be a bunch of white paint scuffs all over the bumper, but mostly in the center and to the left of center..."

me: "wait, wait, wait! so the left front of my black car hits the right rear bumper of his green truck, leaves white paint scuffs and doing damage to mostly the center section of his bumper, and you guys paid out?!"

adjuster: "..."

me: "im waiting."

adjuster: "we will be sending someone out within 3-5 business days, to take pics of the damage to your car so we can piece this one together."

me: "i hope you understand that your money is gone."

adjuster: "what do you mean."

me: "call that guys number or send someone over to his "listed address" and see if hes there. its either in some fat white bitches pocket or on its way back to what ever shit hole that guy came from." (i was royally pissed at that point, mostly cause she hadnt told me my rates werent going up yet.)

so im meeting her investigator at the steak n shake tomorrow so they can take the pics. when i actually start putting everything back together, this weekend, i'll get some proper pics up. i think im just going to fix what i have for now and then wait and make it perfect when i sell the car. since it looks like this will end up being my track car i dont want to fix it, then slam into a barrier or another car, or a pane of glass and have to fix it all over again.

the investigator got sent to a proper accident so it looks like i have to wait till monday. oh well, i got a suprise for you guys. look in the sr or s13 forum later tonite.
