I did have to relocate the power steering stuff to make room for the turbo pipes. and the battery to the trunk but if you get a small battery you could get away with not doing it. but that wasn't nothin hard at all... but if i could give you some advice dont go with the top mount turbo manifold from ssac. the turbo sits really close to the brake master cyl. and heats it up way to much... I'm goin to end up buying a bottom mount instead, and sell this one cuase it sets to close for my comfort.. any other info needed just let me know I'm happy to takes as many pics as needed to help.

are u serious? why not just put a heat shield there so you don't have to go through the trouble of doing all that?

Another issue that arrises with alot of top mounts is if you have a CF hood. The heat let off by the turbo is enough to cause cracks in the CF.

yea I'm not going to get a CF hood anyways so itll be fine. What I was wondering is what Dark-Hawk said about getting a heatshield.

Is this legit and something you've seen done? or just a thought?

a heat shield would be great to help with the heat, if you get the ssac top mount one i did and use a to4e turbo like i have you will have a clearence off about 1/4 off an inch between the ms and the turbo. and for the cf hoods cracking from the heat thats stupid I've had my cf hood since i got my car over 1.2 years ago and nothing not a crack or discoloration to the hood and i have a top mount as you can see ^^^^^ maybe the cheap ass cf hoods that most people get but not quality built ones. or at least I've ever herd of.

just thought to add some more info for you . getting a heat shield is a good thing to get and something to invest in is a turbo blanket that will cut the temps in the engine bay alot and combined with heat shield you shouldn't have any problems at all.

shayrgob please let us know what you are running in your car so we can give dru a better understanding of differnt setups out there. " just a thought"

See that Dru... a T04E... You know you want it. haha.
Anyway, I've heard of CF hoods cracking on a few cars, but I don't know of who built them so can't say of the quality.

Well... the people whose hoods I've seen crack had DSMs ... and all DSMers seem to be cheap as hell and then bitch about their parts breaking, so yeah it probably was a cheap hood.
