So I decided when I bought my Walbro, that I'd just buy a FPR as well since running really rich and getting crappy mpg isn't too economical and I need to buy more parts rather than gas. Anyway, I bought a Megan Racing fpr ($63 shipped), since their quality has been deemed good and the built in fuel pressure gauge seems convenient.

Since it is a universal, I plan to remote mount it on the strut tower and take the line from the stock fpr and run it to my MR fpr before running it to the stock one. My question is if I can just set the MR fpr for something like 45 psi (a tad richer than 43.5) without vacuum so the stocker isn't getting hit by the walbro.

Will this work? Would I just need to run vacuum lines to each regulator?

Well the only reason I wanted to keep the stock one is because I dont want to have to buy a fitting adapter right now. I will eventually go back down to one. And what do you mean a 1 to 1 regulator?

Also, I'm in Tucson, PM me if you come down here.

OH, I didn't know they were rpm based. I thought all FPRs raised pressure by 1 psi for every psi of boost but I didnt know about rpm. Besides how would the rpm be a factor if it is only connected to fuel lines? I'm not trying to argue but I'm just curious as the fuel system is still kind of new to me.

Well the higher the rpms the more vac the motor makes.
Well, my vacuum drops to about 20 or so if I'm really light on the throttle, but as soon as I give it any kind of pressure (just a light tap), it IMMEDIATELY shoots to 0. If I accelerate very slowly and shift at low rpm, the vacuum will stay positive but not much (4-12).
But the higher the RPM the lower the vacuum unless I'm just going 40 in 5th on a decline with no engine output really at all. It seems like fuel pressure wouldn't need to be high when vacuum is high, since the engine isn't under any load at all. I'm kind of confused, can anyone else chime in because that doesnt make sense.

Your walbro wont make you run rich. Your stock fpr will return any unused fuel. I think you can run the fuel return line from the stock fpr to your megan unit. Then run the vac. line to the megan and not to the stock fpr.
