ok i have my ca in the car all wired up, it was all ready, about to start it for the first time, but then it looks good, all lights start, then it turns on then dies, we know it has something to do with the maf since when we unplug it it stays on, but wont go pass 2k rmp, but when we plug it in it idles bad then dies if we dont keep the gas pedal down , we know the ecu reads it, there is no vacuum leaks, timing is right, maf is good wiring to maf is good any ideals would help alot since i would like to drive my 1991 240sx

What MAF are you using?
 
we already tried 3 different MAF's. All of the MAF's were tested before use and they were in good shape. We are using the stock ca18det MAF. Everything seems to be perfect, the car idles fine (with the MAF unplugged) as soon as we plug the MAF connector the car automaticly dies.

the ecu is saying that everything is fine, all the wires are connected right, the maf is sending to the ecu but still wont run right oh and we are using the stock maf for the ca18det eloy is the mechanic working on it even he is having trouble
