Thanks. For the balancing, you can do it yourself. But you need a very good scale. You also need a rod stand that can hold the rods while you balance them. You also need something like a dremel to shave material off of the rods.
To balance the pistons you have to weigh all fo them before doing anything. Then you have to drill in the bottom of the piston to match the lightest one. You can see where i drilled in the pictures i have.
The rods can be shaved between the bolts on the big end or a side that wont affect the structure or strength.
Thats a breif explanation on balancing.

how much material did you have to remove from the arias pistons? i have to remove a total of 7 grams from 3 of my pistons to match the lighest one. I also had to ADD weight to my two outer crank counterweights to get the crank, fly, pulley to a neutral balance.
 
nice work i rebuilt my E in my auto engines class but not to the extent that your going. i just laped the valves and put new bearings. seals in every thing. every thing was in spec so i think i should be good.
