"The Nissan CA engine is a 4 cylinder version on the RB engine."

Makes feel all good inside reading that ;)

Some parts on the RB are interchangable on the CA. The CA and RB share a ridiculous amount of technology and design.

all current rb motors have their roots in the lowly rb20, from the 20 sohc to the beast rb26...
gotta represent roots!

nice find man :)

I gotta admit that this bit here got my attention:
The 2.0 L (1998 cc) SR20VET was the first turbocharged engine from Nissan with variable timing and lift control. It produces 280 PS (206 kW) @ 6400rpm and 309 nm @ 3200rpm.

It is used in the following vehicles:

* Nissan X-Trail GT
Did anyone ever try to swap that into an S-chassis car yet?

i saw one of those x trail gt's here in phoenix... it had mexican plates but it was still kinda exciting...i was debating following it till they stopped and fucking clepto-ing that bitch just to have to motor...and im pretty sure they have awd.

"There is also an 'RB30DETT' kit manufactured by OS Giken of Japan, which bolts an extension on top of the RB26 engine block, and fits liners, to give a 86mm bore x 86mm stroke. It is available as an assembled short block, containing billet chro-mo crank, billet chro-mo H-beam rods, forged pistons, and costs ÂĄ1 500,000."
