tranny question

I'm doing somthing I havent done before. I have a 90 hatch with a MT, and it's looking like I'm going to be getting a 93 hatch with an auto. I know, I know... I have too many 240's, but you guys are on a board about 240's just like me...so dont judge. well the question is as follows:

Can I use the driveshaft and MT etc, etc, etc from a ka24e on a ka24de motor? I know the motor specs, it's just before I go any further I was wondering if this will work, and if anyone has done it.

yes it will work b/c i have done it. my drive shaft was from a 90 240 and now its on my 91 240. the tranny will also work, does not matter if its from E engine or DE.

sorry i didnt get to it in time.. yah most of the stuff will work , just make sure if your drive shaft is non-abs , the new host car has to be non-abs ... something about driveshaft length
