So I got the engine out and on the floor and transfering all the needed parts. The dizzy is in there real tight. I got it out about an inch and a half and not it wont budge. I dont really want to pry on it with a large flat head or any thing... or can i?
Need help getting the Dizzy out...

a dizzy is the geared shaft that drives the distributor... you guys are great. i wouldn't force it, IMO you should take off the front cover so you don't damage the gearing.

I just turned mine while pulling it and it pulled right out

what's wrong with "dizzy"? very common term for the part. i'd say its less annoying than 240sx owners calling their cars 180sx, 200sx, silvia, etc, when it isnt one.stillen180sx said:

disty? haha, i've only ever heard dizzy... weekend warriors, backyard fooses, average mechanics, even nissan techs... i've never once heard "disty"... always been dizzy. most likely a mix of the proper name and the spinning motion of the part.
