ok guys i got the intake today and it does not fit either. its not bent right , thinking about rebending it with a vice and heating it up...when i try to put it in , it hits the fan shroud and the fan does not spin

i got a cheap intake before for my 92 240sx. the bracket that you are trying to make it fix to the rad. support is not going to work well. just use the same bracket and make it hook up to the chassis where the hold that used to hold the air box. just make a 90 degree bend at the end of the bracket (just right above the hole) and connect the rubber thing and it should be at the right height with one of the bolt at the MAF. problem solved.

by the way is cheap AL so you dont even need the heat gun to help bend it. just a vice grip or plyer.

another note: the tube might rub against the hood. make sure you check that part too.

okay , i had to call in the dad for this one...he works with metals day in and day out for about 40 years now...he pretty much put it in a vice and put a rod in it and pulled...voila...here are some pics of the roaring intake

Yea anything you buy from ebay isnt going to fit right! its always gonna need a little modification to make it work! I bought a simple strut tower bar from ebay for a rx-7 i had and had to modify that to work and it rubbed into the top of my engine but i didnt care! worked like another motor mount to steady the engine.

ok so im driving around then i hear a loud whacking sound , open the hood

and the fan shroud is completely torn up ...i just got tired of have such a small clearance with the fan and intake so i just put on my stock piping and put on the filter...

works the same...if not better because i could probably fry some eggs on that cheap T-306 aluminum piece of shit...
