ok heres the problem , when i give my car full gas meaning flooring the car its the same thing as half way throttle , theres no response...

im guessing its fuel injectors and its not getting enough fuel , so im getting some fuel injectors off a wrecked S14 , i have a 93 S13...KA24DE

i did a oil change recently and it was thick black oil , i put a new filter on and some octane booster/fuel injector cleaner and it barely made a difference. what could be the problem guys

how do i check the vacuum system , how do i check the timing...come on im noob

how do i reset the timing shit...any write ups? and how do i check for vacuum leaks damnit

i called some mechanic he said my catalytic converter might be clogged. so im thinking about chopping it off and see if it helps
 
no need to chop it , smog shops are capabale of testing the cat by drilling a small hole into it then putting a meter in there

ok the cat was the problem...i looked under the car to see it was an aftermarket catalytic converter. it was welded on both sides and didnt have the 2 bolts...i chopped it off and now my car flies like wow, but it is EXTREMELY LOUD!!! at WOT i cant hear myself scream

now my question is , if i wanted an exhaust. how do i go about doing this...do i need headers, downpipe , test pipe , then piping and a muffler?

^^ this will cost $500+

but i can get this S14 exhaust from NadAuto for 100$....but people are telling me it wont fit. the exhaust is from headers back and already has a test pipe on it...but people are saying it wont fit...and some people are saying it will fit but it will just be a bit longer.

i dont want a welded cat. and yes i cut piping. im gunna be doing test pipe so how should i do this. with a new downpipe and cat back right? which will run like 300$ after researching

BUT i can get an s14 exhaust from downpipe with a test pipe already on it for 100$

now is every1 sure that S14 exhaust wont fit? i mean its the same engine , its just gunna be longer right? i can cut it and weld it...
 
Just because it's from the same engine doesn't mean anything. Look at the two cars, because an S13 and an S14 have the same engines does that mean I can put my S13 doors onto an S14?

doors are body parts. an exhaust is an engine part. KA24DE is in the 91-94 240sx's and 95-98 240sx's.......i dont see why not except for it will be a foot longer or something

s14 exhaust on s13=crappy fit. just get an ebay header, test pipe, and catback. your car will thank you.
and downpipe because mines is chopped off and doesnt have the flange for the test pipe...so this will all run me 400$
