VIN help

hi everyone i need your help to know the right model of my car...why? here in Chile i buy like a 94' and is a hatch 240sx so after i read the forum i realize that is impossible. i think that's a 92 or 93 model and after looks in other forums & here as well i can't understand the year that i own. thank U .

ok i ran that vin through carfax and it came up invalid. maybe cause your from chile?

yes i'm from chile, i bought this car after searching 1 year and like it was in very good condition i buy the car, but the problem was that becouse i think that this guy bring him the car from the US new, so i can know wath year is it?

i realize to that i have a 18 VIN digit and in carfax only let me put 17?

not entirely sure about the s13 models, but on my s14 there is a production date on the plate in the engine bay. It won't give the details of the trim and model, but you might be able to know what year it is

its true ^^^ check the plate that sits in the engine bay on the left side of the firewall. its metallic and is rivited in.

you can tell the year of a car by the tenth digit in the vin
