i love this thread it is like a good movie, always wanting to know whats around the next corner you just dont know when it is going to happen...lol, but i love the project so far, it is a very nice setup, cant wait to hear you got it running!

Well summer is over and so is much of my free time with all my homework now. I haven't touched the car in 3 weeks but the next chance I get I'll fuck with it for awhile and see what else I can figure out.

It's stored in the garage this year so she is safe and sound.

To tell you the truth I have no idea. I'm hoping sometime before next year. Next summer I'm buying a trailer and go down to Cali for some drift events. My goal is also try to place in the top 4 of the Pro Am FD in the west coast region of next year so I can go to nationals. I got big plans but no money lol.

I just read all 19 pages and it felt like I just read a good book(not that I read). You really have seemed to do this right. I commend you for not getting to frustrated with your car I would probably have gone nuts by now if I could not get it to start. Just hang in there; I am sure its probably something small, overlooked that is causing this no-start issue.

I think hes talking about a different car. Oh and have you tried hitting anything yet? My friends prelude wouldnt start one time so we hit the dizzy with a wrench and it started!?!? At this point its at least worth a try I guess.........

Hey quick question did you ever figure out what clutch came on the SR, When i pulled my tranny i found the same clutch.

Is it possible you battery is completely discharged and you alternator isn't working. My sohc wouldn't start for beans and it turned out to be a bad alternator and completely discharged battery. Might want to try that if you run out of ideas. Also remove and clean all of your grounds, they help a ton.

We installed a second SR, got everything wired up correctly. The harness is NEW so the wiring is correct. We are still getting the CAS code. The motor turns over and backfires every other rev. There's fuel, spark, and compression. This project is cursed by the devil himself.

:16wtfOh my god...i ust spent the past 2 days reading this whole post because im really really thinking of doing the SR swap im just waiting to make enough money for parts....i read this hoping it would inspire me to do it....but im real suprised it all ended in heartbreak,

i cant beleive after all that it didnt even fire up...im kinda sad now and i feel really bad for u Henry....ireally dont know what to say....i dont even know whether to do the swap myself or not
