which is bettin in a 89 2dr s13. i have the ka24 with a t25(soon a gt28) which i think is beter but my friend wants to put in a sr20det with a t3t4. both are front mount with costom piping.

depends on supporting mods, condition of the motors, how well they're tuned, and driver... this question is vague and useless, what do you mean "better"

by better i mean more power. the motors are both rebuilt with forged internals by the same company and both tuned to run clean not to rich or lean. both hav 3" turbo back exhaust the only mod difs are ons a ka24 with at gt28 and the other is a sr20det with a t3t4. im only askin so see if its worth the swap

Theoretically, you would be able to get more power and torque out of the KA than the SR simply due to displacement. I may be wrong but I believe the KA is cast and the SR is aluminum, therefore the block of the KA will be stronger. However there is more parts and stuff for the SR and much more experience tuning them. Not to mention the electronic ignition and the fact that it was built to be a turbo motor. You could also safely squeeze more revs out of an SR than a KA because it is smaller. It really depends on what your goals are and what your budget is.

Guess what!
Don't make a dumb thread like this.
It will turn into a flame war among a bunch of people (on here) that don't know shit about either engine.
