What exactly is the problem with ebay body kits, why are they so much cheaper? Arent they pretty much made of the same stuff and look the same? Why's everyone hate on them so much?

yea the fiberglass layering is shit i bougt one and ended up throwing the back bumper away because it didnt fit rite dont buy a ebay kit oh and they look like shit when there painted

they arent always bad. i heard that the seller "allstarkits" sells good shit. folks on zilvia rave about them. a guy on there ordered a kit from them and compaired it to his friends authentic kit. the "all star" kits fitment was just as precise and the quality was just as good.

Hey come on now, I'm a newb... at least I'm asking before I buy the shit... I think I'll just settle for a paintjob. I'd rather spend a few hundred more and go KA-T than get an authentic bodykit for $1200

...unless you drop the car on the ground. Most s13 kits really don't look good at all if there is more than 1.5" of ground clearance on the front and there's at least one finger gap of clearance between the fender and tire.
There are many sellers on ebay who do sell quality kits, however the number of junk kits do overrule.

Can we do some kind of list from people that have bought ebay kits. Maybe we could have a section for this since people are always asking about ebay or actually buying from there. Maybe a list to include good transactions that people had from ebay and how the quality was.

^^^thank you. i have owned hondas my whole life. nothing more reliable, and if u think im an idiot try and race my s13 u ****. my boosted d series would prolly kill u newbs anyway. dont flame hondas they have some of the best engineering around, and they dont break.

I have the ebay URAS knock off. It was not that bad. Just a little bit of sanding not hard at all. If you guys cant make a kit fit decent then maybe you guys need to sell your cars. Mines zip tied on and it holds fine.
