alight went to firebird tonight and man is my car slow...i wish i could buy a turbo/sr. god i dont like being last. anyways here is my best times.

R/T: .900
60': 2.418
330: 7.036
1/8: 10.724
MPH: 65.94
1000: 13.967
1/4: 16.763
MPH: 85.48

these are my best times combined. not the best run in total. this is my best run in total.

R/T: 1.083
60': 2.418
330: 6.964
1/8: 10.724
MPH: 65.95
1000: 13.967
1/4: 16.763
MPH: 76.28

now i dont know how i got a 16.763 @ 76.28mph. cuz i had one where i was a 16.963 @ 85.48 w/ .900 r/t. that got me. but i dont know. maybe running slower is better. shit i hate this. my truck would have kicked my ass. my truck was stock and was pulling 16.2 at the track. i need a turbo. i need a sr. now

oh my car wieghs a heavy wieght 2835 w/o me in it. and 2970 w/ me in it. so that makes me a 135lb kid. god i gots to hit up the gym again.

anyways post your stuff if you want to show me up...laterz

I have actually seen one of them used on some ricer cavaliers (rofl) and a pretty nice probe. It was about a tenth of a second off all the time. But it wasn;t a consistant tenth of a second off it could have been slow or fast on any given pull. that was when it worked at all which was about half the time. It could have been busted though, I don't know if they're all like that

i got one and its pretty accurate. even though i'm kinda disappointed at my times. but this was with bad tires and with the a/c on. i ran a 0-60 in 7.92 seconds. but i ddin't get a chance to run my quarter mile time yet though.

I have one and manily use it for hp. I did my 65 Corvair and got a wopping 65hp at the rear wheels. Boo ya! I did a 1/4 mile time and speed and i think i was like 25 or so at like 68mph. Slow I know. Thats why i want to get a 240! But overall the gtech works great!

240seR, just so you know: reaction time doesnt affect your ET. So you could sit at the tree for 15 seconds after it turn green and it wouldnt hinder your timeslip. I really dont know why your mph was so low on that faster run. My guess: the computer goofed, it happens.

I have one also, very cool little unit, Car and Driver uses them, they are VERY accurate

The other night Hurricane (also on forum) and I did some 60-0 braking measurements with it, it was virtually the same distance everytime, within a foot.

And its actually supposed to be more accurate than a 1/4 mile track because the track takes your speed every 60 feet, since this is using geforce, its real time. Its minute, but its actually slightly more accurate.

The hardest thing about it I find is find a perfectly flat road.

We can do a 1/4 mile on a road and get almost the same score every time, then do it the opposite direction on the same road and get a slightly different score over and over again. And it never fails, doesnt matter how flat you think the road is. :)

Overall though, its a very sweet toy. Best part about it is that it just plugs into your cigarette lighter and takes only the flip of a switch to get ready to run your 1/4 mile. It just a suction cup on your windshield so its easy to take in and out of your car as often as you want. (to test someone else's car for example)

Get one, its worth it. :)
