In the next few weeks i'll have my 240sx sitting in my garage. It's a project car and its just the shell so I can throw any engine I want into it. I would like any and all feedback about what engine you have in your 240 and why you do and don't like it.

There are so many options that I could put in it and I'm not sure which one sounds right just for me yet. I'm struggling on deciding how big of an engine I need to get quite a bit of horsepower put into it and what the benefits of the different engines are. The one's that I have looked at the most are the KA24, SR20, RB25/26 and LS swaps.

If you want raw HP, LS is the way to go. Swap kits and parts are so prevalent, it makes the swap super simple. Don't get me wrong, I'm a JDM fan, but the LS swap will get you the best bang for your buck.

Though an LS swap would make your car a beast, its not a super simple undertaking. You have the transmission and cross members to address and then the rear differential and axles ......
