I have a 1990 240sx with a ka24de swapped into it that I bought a couple years back when I was 16, I bought a wiring specialties engine harness and it has cranked over for a few months now. I seem to be losing power from the coil to the distributor as it doesn't have any pulse of power going to the distributor, I'm wondering on what I should do? Do I need to have fuel going to the engine at the same time as I'm cranking it over?, All the the front chassis wiring is a huge mess but I have everything figured out so far that I know of. I had to depin and pin in the old plug from the new plug because they messed up on what plug type the coil was. Any ideas are greatly appreciated this is my dream car and I really want it to get going as I was super excited when I got it to crank over, also the red light on the ecu stopped working does that mean the ecu is bad?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
