well im starting my 1uz swap into my s13 hatch. i had a lexus ls400 that was my daily drifter lol and i rolled it the other day. and my s13 has no motor in it at the time being, so after gettin out of my wrecked ls400 i pretty much imediatly thought well my s13 has a motor now lol. ill be using the factory ecu out of the ls and wiring harness of course and using a ka 5 speed trans with adapter plate, a modded 3sgte flywheel, 3sgte pressure plate, ka clutch disc. so no custom driveshaft or custom trans crossmember. the engine is front sump so that makes it even easier. so basically im making custom mounts, and adpater plate is being made by a buddy of mine. ill be popsting pics very soon

yeah sorry about all the posts lol been awhile since ive posted stuff on the forum. ive done a few different swaps before. this will be my first 1uz swap but ive done much research on it. hopefully all will go well lol

Im having an adapter plate made by a friend of mine for under 100 bucks. I also got a brand new 3sgte flywheel for 58 dollars. I have a the ka clutch disc but I'll most likely upgrade it to something stronger. Now finding a 3sgte pressure plate is a little harder to find . I'll most likely have to order a clutch kit and just sell the disc. I should be takin out the engine out of the Lexus Tuesday. Pics will be posted that night. Oh yeah I'll also post up how the adapter plates made as well, as soon as the motor is out

sorry for not posting any pics yet , im having problem uploading pics to my computer. but heres an update on whats goin on. i had to order the flywheel from emspowered cause autozone said they could get me the flywheel for $58 BUT they coudnt find it in the catalog again when i was ready to get it. SOOO EMSPowered is where i got a used 3sgte flywheel for $35 and like 30 for shipping. im not sure how many they have in stock but it was def a good deaL The adapter plate is being made, and i should have it within the week also. all i did was take poster board and laid it down and placed the auto bellhousing on top and traced the inside and outside of the bellhousing. i cut it out and left about a quarter inch or a lil more off the outside. then took it to guy to get it cut out in 3/8" mild steel. when i get it back ill tell you what i do t get the bolt holes lined up perfect. ill try and get pics posted as soon as possible. oh yeah, i will be turboing it as well. i have a garrett gtp38 turbo, big o FMIC ,monza type iii bov, 255 walbro fuel pump,ect ect, ill just be running about 7lbs boost, more detail will brought about that later

Alright here's the adapter plate on the left and the posterboard cut out on the right . Im getting the holes drilled this week and ill have to bring out the torch and some grinding, but this savedme a ton of money doing it this way.

The adapter plate is bolted up to the engine. I also had a pilot bushing sleeve made, which is installed also. The 3sgte flywheel has been modded, and bolted on with 7mge flywheel bolts. When using a 3sgte flywheel you have to use the original flexplate spacer behind the flywheel and have the front plate washer turned down to fit the flywheel. then bolt it on with 4age or 7mge flywheel bolts. I used a ka pilot bushing and a friend made a steel sleeve to go around it to fit the crank perfectly. I did not have the adapter plate bolt holes counter sunk,I just used regular hex shaped bolts, so I just notched out the bellhousing so it would fit flush against the adapter plate. I had the bolt holes.for.the.trans to adapter threaded and put studs in. I'm using a ka24de clutch disc , and still tryin to get a pressure plate. Most likely a 3vzfe oem one.

OK! im in need of some major help! for 12 hrs. ive been tryin to get my car to run. the ecu is out of a 93 ls400 , i cant get spark nor injecdtor pulse, ive checked rechecked and checked my wiring over and over again and cant figure it out. any help would be appreciated for a wiring digrahm from some one who has done this before.

The car runs! I still apologize for not having pics and not keeping up with the updates. I'll put a wire diagram up for a 93 ls400 wiring to s13 chassis wiring soon. As soon as the car is done I will post pics and detailed info on this swap. But if you have questions just let me
