Ok so my 240 ka24e was running good but until 2 weeks ago the motor has been shaking quite a bit. I recently purchased the vehicle did a full tune up changed the spark plug and wires got a new valve cover gasket and changed the engine oil and the car passed the california smog test with no problem. Now sometimes when i try to start the car it wont turn on unless i keep pressing on the gas pedal n then if i dont keep pressing on the gas pedal the car will shut down sometimes n when it idles it goes from like 900 to like 500. i did a test today i plulled the spark plug wires while it was on and every wire i pulled out made a difference in the car n made the car shake alot more. I remembered once that I was messing with the injectors and that made the car run like s*** the car was super shaky so i moved the injectors and the car started to run good again. The car runs good at high RPMs i feel no loss of power at all just when im not pressing on the gas the car shakes and sometimes it dosent want to start today I was also messing with the injectors n it didnt want to turn on then I moved the injectors n it turned on. Please help I need to get her running good again :(

Have you drop tested the injectors? You know, pull each pigtail off one by one like you did the spark plugs. If that doesn't turn up anything, perhaps you need new o-rings. It sounds a lot like what was happening with my DE when I had a bad bottom O ring.

Sounds like the wires for one(or more) could have breaks in them. Check your wiring on each one. Then test each one like you did the plugs.

EDIT: beat me to it. Lol

When was the fuel filter last replaced? If all your other shit was fucking up you should have smog issues however a clogged fuel filter would explain your issues.

No idea on the fuel filter but the car was running fine until i moved the injectors one day and the car passed smog with no problems and sometimes my check engine light goes on when i turn the car on and after driving for a while it will go away.

Pull your spark plug wires one at a time. The engine should stumble if that cylinder was working. If you pull one and you have no change there could be a 2 things; either not getting gas, not getting spark and then you trace from there. If not I'd check the motor mounts could be that too.

Maf cleaner is good, I use brake cleaner but am careful with it. I would check the wiring I know on both my ka-e's the wiring is bent pretty good, I bet that it wouldn't take much to fray or break those little copper strands. I'll check on a part number and place to purchase o-rings.

Edit:
AutoZone part number: 800-9241 manufacturer gp Sorensen. Not sure if they are available but at least it's a start.

nissanfreak8 ok so yesterday I cleaned my injectors connectors and it looks like the 4th cylinder injector is not making good contact i cleaned it and took most of the corrosion of it and I also cleaned my MAF sensor and that helped the car has no problem starting.I noticed that the o rings on the fuel rail are spliced I got the o rings for my car but it only came with two items per package one for the fuel rail and another smaller one. I think my injectors might be going bad or just the o rings If I were to get new injectors how big can I get them and run them with the stock ECU with out a turbo im planning on putting a turbo in the car later tho?
ill be cleaning my IACV and putting the o rings today wish me luck :)

If the o-rings are damaged you could be sucking air past them causing the engine to receive unmetered air which if high enough could cause the problem. And if there was corrosion in the injector plugs odds are the wires going into the plug could be corroded too which won't help with getting enough current flow to open the injectors.
