That Zilvia how-to is half-assed and anyone who follows it is...

There are S15 seat just like 350z seat and we all know S15 seats fit so, study the 240sx rail construction and 350z rail construction and do something less half-assed. When I get the time, I'll post a real how to.

all opinion... I dig'em. Wouldn't mind a pair as well.

s13bodafucker, any chance u know of another set for sale?

he told me that he is going to get 3 more sets in / and he has some s14 and 300zx seats that are really nice

and i got the 350z seats for 200 plus all the black trim
and im thinking of grabing the manual seat belt system out of the 2005 350z he has

Of course for the Towny. It's JDM Tyte. Hell, check out my JDM style meshies in the pic and I have a JDM ashtray (friend in the army got me an ashtray off a towncar that was in a junkyard out in Japan while stationed there :D).

Those seats are no less safe than stock s13 or s14 seats. Ugly? Just because they don't have a black plastic piece? u = :greddy:

Just paint the aluminum portion black or something.

Well, I completed my install of the seats. All you do is drill out all the spot welds on the 350z and 240sx seat, line them up, and re-use only one of the original 350z brackets (the rear-left bracket on the drivers side and on the passenger side, it would be the rear-right bracket.
No washers on this install. All factory brackets and grade 8 hardware. I'll weld'em in place, next weekend...

Nope, plastic sides don't fit. I could have either removed the map holders on the door or the seat trim. I chose the seat trim:thumbsup

I'll just paint the exposed metal with a crinkle Rustoleum paint.

I do mind a writeup because, once you start the process, it'll all make more sense but, I will take more detailed pics for ya:thumbsup

Definitely get a junk seat and keep your drill bits well lubed because, the hardest part for me was drilling-out the spot welds and rivets.

Basically, you drill out all the 350z spot welds, and align them with the largest spot weld from your old 240sx bracket. In one pic, you can see the old 240sx seat bracket on the carpet where it used to mount, on the floorboard. When I test fitted everything, I bolted it in the middle hole at the top of the 350z rail. I'll re-adjust it Friday to give me a little more leg room.

All nuts and bolts (ATM)

How is the hight? Higher lower same, I couldnt do it if it is higher.
It's either a little to close or it's a little higher. Won't really mess with'em, to know, until Friday.
