I was just wondering if the 550CC injectors from a US Sti(yellow ones) will work with the stock SR20DET fuel rail, and clips. Or if anything needs to be done, or if anyone has done this. Thanks

ill let u in on a lil secret.......

if u want those injectors.....dont buy the STI injectors....buy regular WRX injectors.....cause the STI injectors are the same as the stock ones but the lil spray cap thingy is cut off of it.....the reason i know this is at the shop i work at we flowed a stock WRX injector and a stock WRX injector that had the cap cut off of it.....wow.....crazy........there was no comparison.....the modded one owned the stock one on flow

so save some money and if they fit on a SR20 fuel rail just get regular stock WRX injectors and mod them

Dont be spreading misinformation, regular wrx injectors are top feed and wont work anyway. And there is no "cap" to cut off. I posted on freshalloy recently about a similar subject. Yes the new sti injectors(565cc IIRC) will work in the rail, but the plugs are different. Im using MY98 jdm sti injectors(530cc) and they work great. I went to the local 'you-pull-it' junkyard and cut some injector plugs off of a legacy and they work fine.

hmmm......what i dont get man......is that we did do this and its not a lie.....

i work at a shop that builds racecar engines and we have a flow bench for fuel injectors.....a customer of ours is a import tuner shop......they brought us a modded stock WRX injector that had the "cap" cut off and a stock one and there was a really really big difference between them.....im not giving missinformation here......and i didnt even say that they would work with the SR20 i just stated a fact that u can mod stock WRX injectors
