I recently done a head job on a 1985 toyota truck with a 22re motor in it. After fininshing it up I craknked it up and can only pull 3000 rpm, I have went 1 tooth both ways on the cam thinking the chain slipped in the process of the head job same results 3000 and it starts cutting out. Does any one have exp with this problem.:feedback:
Cuts out or Flat Lines? Cutting probably has something to do with a MAF, MAP, or TPS sensor. I don't know how those ECU's work on the Toyota's but those are the main things that determine load on the engine.
