i want to add that i did one time use 87 by accident i was really tired and the place i went to had the octane numbers reversed from the place i normally go to so 87 went in, i drove like a bitch till i could use some 94. nothing happened but i was in a constant worried state.

You made it sound like this story was going somewhere.

Anyway, even on the stock t25 I wouldn't run 87 octance. I recommend 92 octane unless you have an absolutely bone stock sr. Remember, in Japan premium/plus is around 98-100 octane and stock is 92.

A local DSM guy in my area went to oregon for a while and they don't let you pump your own gas there I guess but yeah, he goes to get gas, tells the kid 91 or whatever the high octane is in oregon, the kid puts regular, the engine kicks the bucket a few miles down the road. His engine wasn't stock of course and yeah it was a DSM(nuff said on the reliability standpoint) but still, why spend money on a "performance" engine swap if you're not going to spend the extra money on good gas and good oil to take care of it?

It's not that i wouldn't, i just don't think they have 91 or above at quiktrip anymore, i havent done the swap yet, but i was just wondering if it was bad, because i think my friend got rid of his 240 bcuz it needed 91 or 93 or whatever, and im not sure if quiktrip has it here anymore, but thanks for the input
