apparently the lips are titanium (torched i guess) either way looks really good and is probably quite expensive

i think the titanium piece slips over and is just aesthetic, the weight is not put on it as s14sil mentioned

niether, it's aluminum (recent discovery upon more reading) lol. That stainless steel rim is just an example of how the slip on trim fits on the wheel and is the same concept here just with a different metal and finish.
