Today was a gorgeous day. Warm, relaxing, and sunny....in the final week of January..... I guess that means rain is not far away.

Ok, time to read til I snooze.

Two days? Good grief. Happy Birthday Keith. It seems like yesterday you were turning 23.

Speaking of which. Whenever I get the time one weekend or off day (and it isn't freezing) and have the cash to spare (i.e. after I've moved or sold some stuff), I'm going to get rid of that blasted car (S13).

I call B.S. You have a primal attachment to the 240. You may have good intentions but that underlying love will draw you close until enternity is apon us.

Plus it is a trick. You will just want another one. I know you are shaking your head no, what a POS, I hate those fucking cars, nevaaaa. But you will.

Somehow almost everyday I wish I had bought Jason's car, but yet at the same time feel like I made the right decision.

Went and drove an IS350 earlier. Also went back to the Nissan dealership and they have yet to get their second 370z in yet. Said they are held up in customs/port.

IS350 = sweet.
I saw a kinda darkish (but not navy) blue e46 sedan yesterday at the bank. It was hot...and bone stock. Man I like those cars too much.

It was nice for sure. Had all kinds of features and gadgets, but I didn't really just fall in love with it. It was nice and all but didn't push all the right buttons or something. I took the same test drive route (pretty short) in my M3 afterwords and it reminded me of how capable even my old tired M is. How with 132k miles it still likes to spin the 280 treadwear tires over when it hits 6k or so (peak tq) in first gear.

It just has some issues and I don't know if I want to spend the money to worry with them. Things like the diff pinion seal leaking. The clunk that seriously needs addressing, and now a bit of steering slop at center steer. Plus inspection II is do in 1475 miles.

You buy an IS350 and the only maintenance required is a trip to express oil change every 5k and thats about it.

Just the thoughts I am culling over right now. Emotion/driving pleasure or nice car/low upkeep.

Looks cool Riuben. I personally hate Mustang wheels, but since they're giving you traction and are pretty easy/cheap to find, I don't blame you for running them. Plus the offsets almost always work.

On a side note:
The Miata is filthy. And I mean nasty, ugly, WASH ME, filthy. I was going to wash it today...and now its raining. Man, I love AL....
